Welcome to Stuart, Iowa online!


I’d like to take this opportunity to welcome you to Stuart, Iowa, a community of 1700 people located at Exit 93 on I-80 in west central Iowa, just west of Des Moines.

You’ll find everything you need in Stuart including grocery stores, hardware stores, pharmacies, doctors, dentists, restaurants and taverns. We have nearly a dozen churches in the area as well. Stuart, Iowa is also home to the Wildcats of the West Central Valley school district.

We’re just a short drive down Interstate 80 from Des Moines and all the entertainment and shopping available to you there, from baseball games with the Iowa Cubs to shopping at Jordan Creek Mall to concerts at the Wells Fargo Arena. We’re also just an hour away from the Iowa Speedway in Newton on I-80.

The people here are honest and sincere, hardworking and dedicated with a great sense of community and pride. In Stuart, we get the best of small-town life with the convenience of being just a quick drive to the city. If you live in Stuart, you already know about the quality of life available here.
